Saddle bags continued in Remote Work Habits Part Two
Remote Work Habits 2 continues from the previous page.
The most accepted way to lose weight is to utilize a combination of diet and exercise. This is one of the most difficult things that a person can do especially when you are in the comfort of your own home. The most difficult part, in my opinion, is changing the mindset of eating and unbalanced diet into one that is healthy. It can take a ton of willpower. No willpower, no weight loss. No weight loss, AMAZING saddle bags.
It can hard. My favorite distractions consist of strawberry short cake and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate melted over vanilla ice cream. I’m mean you’ve worked hard at getting that home office going and not turning on the TV. Desserts are my downfall. I have spent over a year trying to determine a diet plan that I could stick to and be healthy. None of the cabbage soup recipe for me.
Talk with your doctor before starting any weight loss routine. And while you’re talking to your doctor, ask them about bio-hacking and nootropics. The combination of these SNAPs allowed me to lose 35 pounds in 6 months. If you’d like to learn more about some of these most effective products click here.
Schedule time for friends and family
One of the benefits of working remotely is additional time spent with friends and family. Being able to have that time makes life so much more enjoyable. By scheduling certain times for friends and family, you are relatively guaranteed to take it. You don’t even have to ask the boss since most times you ARE the boss. Want to head out to the amusement park? Go! Your relationships will be even better with the increase in in-person time. When was the last time you had date night with your significant other? Visited the zoo with your kids? Girl’s night out? Pool Tournament? A real vacation?
Control over your time is one of the first steps in time freedom. As you become more invested in using your calendar, this becomes easier and easier.
Whose turn is it to fix the internet?
There is nothing worse when working remote than having your internet connection go south. Or freeze when you are in the middle of speaking any word that causes your face to get scrunched up. Or someone has told a really funny joke and you laugh out loud and everyone can see your epiglottis.
Due Diligence
As with anything doing your due diligence will save you time and more importantly beaucoup bucks! Remember to ask the hard questions. Such as: “Who is responsible for maintaining the equipment?” or “Is feature support included in the cost?” “What is the time frame for upgrading equipment?” The answers will help you to narrow down the choices of which provider to use.
Other questions to ask include:
- What are the upload and download speeds?
- What are your responsibilities for down time?
- Will I be eligible for a partial refund if my service is down for a certain amount of time?
- Is there a site I can refer to via my smartphone for updates on any downtime?
- Is your support line open 24/7?
- Are your support technicians both in office and in home certified?
Finally!
In conclusion, what we’re really talking about here is Work-Life balance. It is possible for anyone. Communicate your goals to your significant other. This makes it easier to be on the same page with how you both want to live your lives.
