Gift Ideas for Everyone and Every Occasion

Coming up with gift ideas is the bane of most everyone’s existence. What do you get for someone who has everything? Where does your mind go when you are looking for something that would tickle a teenager? Do you get a raucous toddler their first drum set? How about something special for your new spouse? A couple who purchased their first home through your services?

Take a few minutes to check them to see how you can give something appropriate to even the most discerning relative on your list will be amazed at how well you were able to locate something that they felt was amazing! The ideas and links cover most everyone. If you find something that needs to be included on our year-long list, please let me know at thebarbararyan@gmail.com Don’t forget to include your name and email address so I can thank you for your contribution to our site.

Gift Baskets

Everyone loves a themed gift basket. This page will give you some ideas on what to put inside of the basket. Gift Baskets can be optimized for the individual or can be generic for a group of children about the same age and can be duplicated for each.

Gifts for Women

That wonderful person who gave birth to you. Who took care of you when you were sick. This woman may not have physically given birth to you, but nonetheless, they have supported you from the time you came into her life. Each of these ideas can be used for any occasion you want to recognize Mom.

Gifts for Men

What can we say about Dads? These men and women (yes a woman can be a Dad). It takes a special man to be a Dad. Wouldn’t you agree? Here are some ideas that will help you celebrate Dad in June and show your appreciation in December or really any time Dad’s are number one and you want to let the world know.

Bottom Line…

… is to have a idea of what the person you are gifting would like to receive. Ask others what they believe they would like. Make sure it is age appropriate unless there’s is a compelling reason why something would be more appreciated. Things like stamps for a child unless that child is into collecting stamps. Another example would be a football for a little girl. Not welcome if she isn’t into playing.

One last tip. Start early!

Give yourself enough time to purchase or make the gift as well as shipping time if needed. A great way to reward yourself for completing your Holiday Gift giving would be a nice glass of wine. Get yours delivered to your door here!

BONUS!

I love Christmas time. I’m the oldest of 12 children. We had some pretty inexpensive traditions growing up. My favorite every year was Christmas Eve. We each chose one present from under the tree. It was amazing every year it was a new pair of pajamas and a bag of unpopped popcorn. Most everywhere we lived had a usable fireplace and Mom had located a metal popcorn popper that was used over a fire. After we opened the presents, we all ran to put our new pjs on and scampered down the stairs with a blanket we snagged to the living room. Just in time to watch a Christmas related movie.

There are so many different ways to celebrate Christmas and most every holiday. Since I only know how Christmas is celebrated, that’s what I’ve put here. If you have a link to a holiday movie, you can also send that to me via email at thebarbararyan@gmail.com I will add them to this page.

So here is my selection this year for a Christmas holiday movie for kids – Click here and a new tab will open with the video. This year I’ve chosen Frosty the Snowman from 1969.

**I know the Gifts for Girls and Gifts for Boys titles are stereotypical. That is only meant to show the differences a gift giver needs to think about when gifting the best item for each child.
