Troubleshooting Windows 11
These steps are also the basic troubleshooting steps for your computer system.
- First step is to simply refresh the page you are on. This “reloads” the page.
- To refresh the page, press the F5 key on the very top row on your keyboard. An alternate way to reset is to click the circle arrow that is located on the top left corner of the Chrome Window

- If there is no improvement, Clear your Cache.
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome window. From the drop down menu, choose Clear Browsing Data.
- Make sure you have the first and the third option checked. Uncheck the middle option. You’ll need to log in again if you inadvertently delete all the cookies.
- If all that fails, reboot your computer. Set up your work space again and try sending a text and/or a call.
- If it still doesn’t work, then you’ll want to contact your Instructor to see if they have any further tips.
- And if it STILL doesn’t work, please do not toss your computer out the windows. I promise that Windows will not fly. (Sorry, old joke)
- Actually, If you are still having problems with your computer and are unable to get the programs working properly, I can highly recommend using a service like Driver One. It’s a paid service and one that has already saved me tons of money. I do not get any compensation or free services. It’s just a service that I really like. You could also probably use something like the Nerd Squad or your family’s computer Guru.
Windows 10
The scheduled end of support for Windows 10 in October 17, 2025. Love your Windows 10? There is no requirement for RRR247 to update to Windows 11. However, as of March 4, 2023, all computers I’ve seen available via retail purchase will have Windows 11 installed. Downgrading to Windows 10 comes with it’s own headaches. You will need to do a clean install. The link here gives you step by step instructions on how to do this. However, I’ve been using Windows 11 for a very long time now and the learning curve isn’t all that bad. But if you are set on downgrading, Click HERE for the link.
Apple/MAC
I have no understanding of Apple/Mac computers. Assistance for RRR247 related questions are available via a WhatsApp chat room. Please check with your Instructor or MSI to access that chat room.
