Can you imagine sitting under the poolside umbrella savoring some wine popsicles filled with fruit? Is your tongue dancing with the sweetness of the fruit? I agree that it has to be one of the best thing to experience on a hot summer day.
- Get a popsicles form or use a paper cup. If you go the paper cup route, you’ll want to purchase some popsicles sticks.
- In a blender add some fruit such as strawberries. Add in the wine (white preferably) See our Wine of the Month Club to add to the flavor of a true fine wine. Blend until it’s all mixed well.
- Pour into the mold.
- Freeze until solid.
- If desired, dip the frozen popsicle in some melted dark chocolate.
- Sit back, relax and enjoy!
A mixture of blackberries and a good Merlot then dipped in chocolate is to die for! Choosing a fine wine is much easier when you join our Discovery Wine of the Month Club.
For an Italian experience, try peaches and a fruity red wine.
The best this to remember is that there are no measurements. Try filling the blender about 3/4 to the top and then add wine until full. Then blend away.
Next is that the combinations for making some wine popsicles are limited only by your own imagination. So have a little fun when trying out the various ones you come up with. Change up the wine or the fruit. Be adventurous!
