National Taco Day

National Taco Day is one my son celebrates at least once a week. Every Tuesday for dinner, we have Tacos. They are soooo yummy. Our newest tradition is to celebrate Tuesdays with a taco bar. Sometimes we invite friends over and it becomes a Mexican Fiesta! We play music from Hispanic artists. Dancing isn’t far behind at that time. Beverages we serve include Soda, Horchata, Sangria, and anything else we think we would like to have.

Planning a taco bar for a party

Keep it simple, quick to make and budget-friendly with the DIY taco bar. It’s just a matter of deciding what kind of meat to serve at your taco buffet. If you’re opting for 2 different meats, you can use a mixture of ground beef and pulled chicken. Alternatively, you can use only one type of meat, like taco-seasoned ground beef. My favorite taco bars have been those with three meats, based on the parties I’ve thrown. Fish, chicken, and ground beef
