Gift Baskets allow for a more personalized gift to your friends and families. Whether the gift recipient is 8 or 80, everyone can get excited when opening a basket you’ve created just for them. If you don’t feel like you are creative enough, search the Internet for a basket you can buy.
- Take a good look at the recipient of the gift basket. Write their name (or code name) on the top of a piece of paper. Write down what you know about their likes and dislikes. Be specific.
- Check the budget to make sure you can create or buy a basket and its contents that will appeal to them.
- Don’t forget to add something nice to lay on the bottom of the basket. This could be pretty much anything that matches the contents.
Gift Basket Ideas
- Spa Day Gift Basket: Into a medium-sized basket (sourced from your local dollar store) place enough filler to hold your items fairly securely. Then add a nice smelling candle, some bubble bath, a face mask to cover the eyes, and a bottle of lotion. Add some decorations such as flowers or other floral arrangement to help secure each of the items you’ve collected.
- New HomeOwners Basket: A medium-size basket (local dollar store), place enough filler to hold items securely. Add a bottle of wine (red or white depends on the other items in the basket. Sliced sausage, various small pkgs of cheese, two wine glasses, and chocolate.
- I’m A Big Girl Basket: A smaller basket. Include some bubble bath and some lotion. You could also include a brush and comb set, a special washcloth and a bath toy. My girls played with their yellow rubber ducky until they were preteens. Other bath options include soap crayons and other shapes you can find in many places.
- Move Go-er Basket: A smaller basket. Add a good movie. Their favorite if you know what it is. Some Keto Popcorn. Some popcorn seasonings.
- My Daddy Basket – Items for this basket need to be researched. What are some of the Daddy and Daughter things that they both like. Does Daddy read a chapter from a book every night? Does the daughter or son have a set time for Daddy-time where they create with PlayDoh. Do they like to cook together? How about playing ball or other sports related activities.
Two items we can help with are the wine and the Keto popcorn. Click on the link to learn more.
