Hillbilly Chili and Fine Wine – Joy – are a great combination now that the weather is finally slowly cooling off. Here in the Ozarks, we are known to have great celebrations and fall festivals. Oh, what a good time one can have.

Frito Bandito – There are many different recipes for Frito Bandito. This one is my all-time go meal for a fast and easy dish when the grandkids are around. I actually started making this when my own grown sons were young. It comes together so quickly and easily. The ingredients are ones you likely have in your home and can pull this simple dinner together in no time at all.

Oktoberfest with Grandma Mace’s meatball – This recipe has been in Cheryl’s family for decades. Her Grandma Mace turned 100 in 2021. Serve this with pasta or really any side dish you think would go well. Perhaps a serving of fresh carrots along with a simple side salad. With this recipe, I am pairing it with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which is one of our More Than Muse, bringing out the flavor of the sauce that does not overpowering the sauce. The recipe is here. Get the wine here.

Rib Eye Steak Recipe – Rib Eye is one of the highest quality cuts of beef. Rib Eyes show up at more formal celebrations such as a wedding, celebration of a new job or promotion or even a quiet dinner between mother and father to celebrate the arrival of a new child.

Scouters’ Beef Bourguignon – My husband found this recipe at CampFireKitchen.com a while ago. Ever since we’ve only cooked it in a Dutch oven and only while in the mountains. The setting, the food and the amazing Red Wine made the evening a more enjoyable one as we listened to the critters in the background. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did.

Time for Instant Pot Wine Brats! – Tami -The season of Fall Festivals, tailgating parties, and large gatherings has arrived! I know we use our grill throughout the year even here in Ohio. But on those brutally cold winter days that you still want a Summertime Favorite of Brats and beer. Well try it with the Instant Pot and Fine Wine, you may never go back to the norm! The recipe attached here makes an amazing side dish.

Ginger Ground Beef Stir Fry – I found this recipe on YouTube I did however make a single change. Add 1/2 cup Red Wine and cook until the liquid had been absorbed. I also suggest using frozen or parboiled vegetables as using raw just doesn’t cook them quick enough This is an inexpensive and quick meal even during the middle of the week. Bon Appetit!

Hamburger Stew – Come home to the tantalizing aromas of a home-made stew! This stew is versatile so you can change the ingredients to create your own tradition. Imagine sitting down to the table after removing your coat and boots and digging into the smells of dinner, “just like Mom” used to make. Enjoy the memories!
