These are the steps to follow to increase your chances of approval the very first time you apply for Google Adsense. The best advice I can give is to follow Rory’s system. And, of course, don’t quit. The only way to fail at this business is to quit.

Take your time. Go slow. Read the entire set of instructions before you start. Print out a copy of this page and as you complete each step, cross it off the list.

Start Here

1. Complete the modification of your pages.
   • Begin by breaking down the number of pages you wish to accomplish in the amount of time you have to work your business.
     • Next, do the math. The number of pages will vary depending on whether you are working part time or full time for your PBS. Currently there are 67 pages. (this number may have changed depending on Rory’s direction) Take this number and divide it by how many hours you have set aside for working on pages.
     • So with 67 pages to modify and the goal of modifying 5 pages a day, that will take you about 13 days with your dedication and modification skills.
     • Spend more time working on the pages and it will take less days. Spend less time working on pages and it will take more days.
   • When you have your DTC Ambassador Wine pages completed, it’s time to start posting ads.
     • Following your instructors lead, It’s time to split the amount of time you spend on each action.
       • A good formula to use is to spend 50{fed172da7923ef2b144b345ce1dfbe4f34a361fdeac8d420a8ac05bf45235d10} of your allotted time on modifying your pages. At the same time, start posting your ads for the other 50{fed172da7923ef2b144b345ce1dfbe4f34a361fdeac8d420a8ac05bf45235d10} of time..  Time spent on these two actions depends on what level you are at.  If you are just beginning, follow your instructors guidelines. 
         • If you are doing both consistently, mark your time 50-50.  Work your VMarketing Leads half of the time. Modifying and posting ads completes the other 50 {fed172da7923ef2b144b345ce1dfbe4f34a361fdeac8d420a8ac05bf45235d10}.
         • So a 4 hour work-day would be 2 hours on VMarketing, 1 hour of posting or making ads and 1 hour of working your pages.
       • Make sure you are following the system as Rory developed it. If you do what Rory does, you’ll get what Rory gets. Complete the modification ensuring your business starts off on a firm foundation.
       • There are a number of resources available to help with this. Check with your Instructor for more information.
2. Run each page through duplichecker.com.
   • Get a 10{fed172da7923ef2b144b345ce1dfbe4f34a361fdeac8d420a8ac05bf45235d10} or below as a score.
   • This doesn’t mean you have stolen words from someone else.
   • Complete the modification as shown
   • The lower score allows for “brownie points” from Google AdSense since they LOVE!!!! original content.
   • Also, remember that if the high numbers shown say that you match with your own site, it doesn’t count. Run a report as shown below at brokenlinkcheck.com. This can happen for a variety of reasons such as typo and links that go absolutely nowhere. .
   • Put in your web address (2a97.com for example).  Press the button that says “Find Broken Links”.
   • Enter the security code as shown.
   • The option is to choose the one that says, “Report all occurrences of each dead link (may be slower).”
     • It will run a more robust check which is what we want.
3. Fix any broken links.
4. After you have run both reports and fixed each one, notify your Instructor and request they review your site.  If needed, ask your MSI to review the site.
5. Then make any changes they suggest.
6. When the change is complete, apply to Google Adsense!
   

While you’re waiting for Google Adsense to be approved, take the time you normally would have used for modifying pages and post ads. You can never post enough ads.
