“About Us” starts with a simple truth – I’m Barbara Ryan, a real person living in New Mexico with three rescue dogs and a heart full of hope for your success.
Five years ago, my world changed when I lost my husband. Like many of you, I found myself needing to rebuild not just with my feelings, but with money too. That journey led me back to rediscover the amazing world of affiliate marketing and many ways to create multiple streams of income that could create both financial freedom and time freedom for me.
My About Us Story and Why I Started This Journey
Beacon of Discoveries has been my home base since November 2020, starting in the mountains of Utah and now running out of New Mexico. What started as my own search for financial security has grown into a strong mission to help others find their path to freedom. After Ken passed away, I moved in with my oldest son Kevin and our three rescue dogs — Groot, Rocket, and Poppy. These amazing members of our family keep life fun while I work from home building this community.

With over 52 years of work in sales – both phone and door-to-door – I understand what it takes to build good ties with people, find real work from home income, and help people make smart choices.
